Who we are
At The Recovery Collective, we believe that recovery is not one-size-fits-all. We are a community-driven initiative built on compassion, collaboration, and real-world experience. Our mission is simple: empower individuals and communities by providing practical solutions that meet people where they are.
We focus on three core areas:
Recovery Support – walking alongside people in their healing journey with resources, peer connections, and pathways that honor individual choice.
Harm Reduction – reducing stigma and saving lives by increasing access to tools, education, and support that promote safety and dignity.
Mental Health Advocacy – creating spaces where mental health is prioritized, and where systemic barriers are challenged through empathy and evidence-based practices.
The Recovery Collective is more than a name. It is a call to action. Together, we build bridges across public health, public safety, and community organizations to create solutions that last.
Every person deserves the chance to recover, to be heard, and to thrive. Join us in shaping a future where hope is accessible to all.
Our Guiding Principles
These principles guide every program we run and every person we walk alongside.
Compassion First — We treat every individual with dignity and respect, recognizing the humanity behind every story.
Empowerment Over Judgment — We believe recovery is self-defined. Our role is to walk alongside people, offering tools and support without stigma or shame.
Harm Reduction Saves Lives — Meeting people where they are, through education, safer use strategies, and access to resources is essential to preserving life and opening the door to recovery.
Collaboration Across Systems — Real change happens when public health, public safety, and community organizations work together toward shared solutions.
Equity and Inclusion — We are committed to breaking down systemic barriers, centering marginalized voices, and ensuring access to care for all communities.
Integrity and Accountability — We lead with transparency, honesty, and a commitment to follow through on our promises.
Innovation Through Lived Experience — We value the voices of those with lived experience in recovery, knowing that they hold the wisdom to guide meaningful change.
